We at Edge generally use two different perm solutions. Acid wave perms and Amino Acid perm solutions. Unlike cold perms, Acid perms cause minimal damage to the hair. You can expect big wavy hair to tight curly hair. The other solution called Japanese perming or Amino Acid perming directly comes from Japan and contains 99 % amino acid and only 1 % of perm solution which completely protects the hair. For clients who don't want to see curls, but just a hint of waves or those who currently have pre-existing damage, this solution is ideal.

We currently use 'Milbon' products for our permanent straightening services as well as the Coppola Keratin product for smoothing services. 'Milbon' is a well known Japanese company for gentle treatment of the hair. You can expect your hair to be silky and shiny after the straightening. The other method is the popular semi-permanent method called the Keratin complex. This method is ideal for overly processed hair to smooth down existing curls and wave as well as reduce volume but keep some curl and texture.
