Colin Pape - Co-Founder & CEO     
Colin's background in web development and SMB internet marketing began in the late 90s while studying Computer Science and Systems Analysis. ShopMidland.com, the original ShopCity site serving Colin's hometown of Midland, Ontario, was launched in April of 2000.  Colin is intensely passionate about the roles entrepreneurs and SMBs play in society, and is dedicated to helping them use the internet as a force multiplier.

Colin enjoys spending time with his wife Tara and son Jackson, reading and writing, particularly on topics related to the philosophy of freedom and personal responsibility, technology and natural health.



Jim Terry - Co-Founder & CTO
Before co-founding ShopCity, Jim was a DSP software engineer at Avid/Digidesign for 8 years where he developed and improved audio effects processing plug-ins. Prior to that Jim worked at Sequential Circuits for 8 years, creators of the first programmable music synthesizer and the company behind MIDI. Jim has a B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.

Despite his engineering background, Jim is the marketing guru who secured most of our domain portfolio including ShopNewYork.com, ShopBoston.com & ShopSF.com.



Nathan McCosker - Community 
Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, Nathan brings more than 15 years of experience in IT project management and honed his community development skills in his past life as a rave promoter and manager. As ShopCity's resident community guru, Nathan manages our social media accounts and ensures we're connected with the people who matter most.

Nathan graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with degrees in business and law. In his spare time, Nat grows his own food and supports the local agricultural community. He enjoys music and spending time with his wife and young daughters.



Steve Outtrim - Advisor   
In 1996, at the age of 23, Steve became the youngest CEO of a public company in Australia's history when his company, Sausauge Software - makers of the HotDog web editor, IPO'd. The prior record was held by Rupert Murdoch since the 1950s. At its peak, Sausage Software had more than 3 million customers in over 200 countries, with a market cap of $1.7 billion, and 1,200+ employees. Steve then founded Majitek in 2000, an enterprise software company he still directs. In 2011, he became a founding board member of charitable organization Reallocate.org.

Steve advises ShopCity.com on business strategy, corporate finance and team-building.



Chuck Blakeman - Advisor    
Author of the #1 rated Business Book of the Year, Making Money Is Killing Your Business.

Chuck started and built five companies and now uses his experience to build 3to5 Clubs for business owners internationally. His company, The Crankset Group, provides outcome-based peer advisory groups for Business Owners, CEOs, and their growing businesses. He speaks and works with businesses in the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Australasia.

Chuck advises ShopCity.com on business strategy, community and small business growth.
