I am quite passionate about “real food” and love being able to share my recipes and techniques for creating nourishing and traditional foods with you.

I am especially interested and skilled in fermentation and I can go on for hours on all the crazy and fun things you can do with ferments while supporting your health and wellness.
Much of my inspiration comes from the amazing text, Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats by Sally Fallon and Wild Fermentation: The Flavor, Nutrition, and Craft of Live-Culture Foodsby Sandor Ellix Katz

I offer focused hands-on workshops in my private kitchen with groups limited to a maximum of six people to insure proper attention and care for each participant. Each class covers the creation process from start to finish – so even if some of these items take weeks to culture – you will still get a sense of the whole process. I time the workshops so that each stage is experienced – giving you a chance to become more familiar and comfortable when you start fermenting at home. Each class also includes little tastes of additional treats that may be fermenting or brewing in hidden cupboards and the fridge.
