Pianist-leaber Paul Price also plays solo, and fields versatile small instrumental ensembles for parties and events.
In his piano solo work, Mr. Price prominently features improvisatory classical and inspirational music. Classical masters from Bach to Brahms were reknowned for their improvisations, but few of these pianist-composers lived to record. This lost art is now recovered.
Paul Price also teaches piano in local students' homes. These are not merely piano lessons, but aim to train the total musician and convey context of the music.
