Poetry Slam Thursday March 6th at 7pm “Man gave name to all the animals.” By Ellen Clark I’ve incorporated a little bit of everything from Africa and, in particular, Zimbabwe in my slam poetry! A portion of my slam is taken from Bob Dillon’s song Man Gave Names to all the Animals at least the chorus and the rhyme about the snake. All the other parts are mine.

March 1st, 5pm - 7pm Da! Mozhem and the Nema Problema Chorale play Balkan dance music. The chorale consists of up to eight women, joined occasionally by male voices. We play pan-Balkan music with an emphasis on Bulgarian, Macedonian and Ex-Yugoslav traditions. We also have several native language singers and play on traditional instruments unique to the region as well as modern instruments.
