Poetry Night Sunday Feb 16th 8pm to 10pm Marvin R. Hiemstra, poet, humorist, founding Editor-in-Chief of the Bay Area Poets Seasonal Review, has recent work in The Amsterdam Quarterly and The Satirist. Dana Gioia called the DVD, French Kiss Destiny, Marvin’s kaleidoscope of poetry/humor filmed in San Francisco, “superb work.”

Caroline Goodwin, recently appointed Poet Laureate of San Mateo County. Sunday, Jan 19,14 8:00 to 10:00 Followed by open mic She is currently serving as the first poet laureate of San Mateo County. Born and raised in Alaska, she moved to California in 1999 to attend Stanford as a Wallace Stegner Fellow. She teaches in the Stanford Writer's Studio and also at California College of the Arts.
